Product Care

For Rainessance label apparel:

Our products are mainly hand-woven fabrics including handspun linen, cotton, and silk. Due to their handcrafted nature, our products may have variations and irregularities in the fabric. These are not defects but an integral feature of handloom. With each wash, the fabric will get softer.

For Baby Rainessance:

All naturally dyed fabrics are prone to bleeding in the initial washes. Natural dyed fabrics need special care due to the properties of the dyes. Please wash them separately in cold water and line dry all the colored clothes in shade.

For all other apparel:

Please keep silks and delicate items away from jewellery & sharp objects. These can only be dry cleaned.

Please note that most garments are prone to slight shrinkage after the first wash.

Please do not use harsh chemicals on clothes while washing or otherwise (like strong perfume, starch or strong detergent.) All our garments are best washed separately in cold water.
